Photo & Video Policy
Valour Community Centre is proud to share the amazing programs, events, and activities happening across our three sites: Clifton Site, Isaac Brock Site, and Orioles Site.
To help keep our community informed and engaged, our staff may take photos and short videos during programs.
How Photos & Videos Are Used
Photos and videos taken during Valour Community Centre programs, activities and events may be used for:
- Social media updates
- Our website
- Posters, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Funding reports and community outreach
We are committed to respecting the privacy and comfort of all participants—children, youth, and adults.
Your Consent Matters
During program registration, participants (or parents/guardians of minors) are asked whether they consent to photo and video use. This helps us ensure we only share images of those who have given permission.
If you or your child prefer not to be photographed, simply let our staff know at check-in. We maintain a “no-photo list” and take steps to ensure you are not included in pictures or videos.
How We Protect Your Privacy
Images are used only for community-related purposes.
We never sell or share photos with third-party advertisers.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Our goal is to highlight the positive, vibrant, and inclusive environment of our community while respecting everyone’s privacy and comfort.
