Exploring Your Relationship with Money

Explore your values, feelings and assumptions about money, assess your financial knowledge and identify areas for growth.

Session 2 · Tuesday, October 20

Income and Taxes

Understand income sources, pay stubs and deductions, Canadian income taxes and how income relates to public benefits.

Budgeting

Understand your income and expenses, develop a budget and explore practical strategies for sticking to it.

Banking and Financial Services

Explore banks, credit unions and alternative financial services, and learn to choose and manage options that meet your needs.

Saving

Set savings goals, distinguish needs from wants, create a savings plan and learn about compound interest and common savings tools.

Credit Basics

Explore the benefits and costs of credit, common credit products, credit-card interest and effective credit management.
