Orioles Bike Cage & Femme Night

The Orioles Bike Cage is a volunteer-run community bike shop and a program of Valour Community Centre, located in the shack behind the wading pool at the Orioles Site (444 Burnell St).

We’re open Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00 PM.

At the Orioles Bike Cage, we do more than fix bikes, we empower you to learn. Our volunteers provide guidance through repairs, offer access to tools, and supply new or used parts to help keep your ride safe and smooth. The space is relaxed, supportive, and inclusive.

Some repairs may be beyond our scope, and in those cases, we’ll recommend trusted local shops or resources. Transparency and community learning are at the heart of what we do.

Femme Night is a women and gender diverse focused program that creates a welcoming space to learn, connect, and build confidence in bike maintenance.

Participants can work on their bikes with guidance from volunteers, gain hands-on experience, and share skills in a safe, inclusive environment. Whether you’re just starting out or already comfortable with tools, Femme Night offers a supportive place to grow and ride with confidence.
